Synopsis

The main character ends up unconscious for what appears to be a short period of time. Within that short period of time every citizen in NYC apparently already knows that the aliens react to sound and cannot see, with no explanation as to how everyone came to this realization.Fast forward to when everybody is heading to the seaport to leave NYC, the main character is a dope who decides to go to Harlem for cold pizza, which is fine, she’s a dope who is already dying anyway so no big deal if she gets killed. But then some random other moron who is somehow drowning in a subway staircase, which isn’t explained why it’s flooded that high, sees the main characters cat, and follows it to its owner. He then decides to follow the owner everywhere she goes instead of going where the rest of the people are going to safety.
